What Does Your Online Image Say About You?
Stop, think and realize — people today live in this fast paced society. Whether you are looking for a job, applying to colleges or even dating online — someone, at sometime will be searching your name online.
You may be someone that thinks just because you don’t engage in social networking you don’t have to worry about it, I am sorry to tell you, you are very wrong.
Everyone today has some type of digital trail, and if you are not maintaining it, you may end up regretting it.
Fact is people don’t take the time to stop and ask questions if they find negative content. Most will quickly move on to the next applicant. Especially in today’s competitive workplace and college-admissions (and even all those dating sites), there are many to choose from.
Your paper resume rarely makes it to the recruiter, but your digital one will be glaring through the screen. Your GPA could be a shining star, but your social media behavior doesn’t make the grade.
