facebook-logoWe are constantly hearing headlines saying that our teens are leaving Facebook.  I know I am someone that has been debating that.  Not because I don’t believe they are leaving it, but because I think they may be using other social media sites in addition to Facebook. The fact is Facebook offers too many functions that others don’t.

From groups, events, invites, and many other pages they can create with more details on Facebook than the other social networking sites such as Instagram or Snapchat, Facebook is a long ways from history in my opinion, for the youth.

Sure, their parents and grandparents are there now – so they may not be posting as frequently, but they are there – and they are using Facebook and a long ways from deactivating their accounts.  Maybe they are learning to use their privacy setting more efficiently.
